Rustic Basement Remodel

This homeowner had a dream to take an unfinished basement and create a downstairs laundry, 1/2 bath, and entertaining space for game day and family time. The homeowner also wanted a laundry chute from the upstairs master bedroom into the bathroom/laundry space.

The staircase was remodeled and finished with a rustic and homey feel. This led into the laundry space that included a downstairs drink fridge and bar for mixed drinks and coffee.

The 1/2 bath with the laundry chute made it nice for entertaining, and convenient for the homeowner.

The floors were acid stained and sealed, the walls were finished with wood accents, and the ceiling was sealed rustic tin.
